Jeera aloo, is a flavourful North Indian side dishes made with potatoes and spices. The word 'Jeera' in Sanskrit translates to 'that which digests' which is why it pairs so well with potatoes. Potatoes usually cause gas and bloating for me personally, so adding cumin seeds and hing make it a lot easier for my body to digest. Plus the combination of all the ground spices makes this dish a flavourfilled, every bite!
